Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival

2012 GPJFF STUDENT FILM COMPETITION

The Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival is issuing a call for student produced entries for short films. This is an international competition and is open to all college and graduate students.

Films must be twenty (20) minutes or less, and in keeping with the theme of the Festival, must contain Jewish themes, issues, history or culture. The winning film will be shown at the 2012 Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival next February.

We are now accepting submissions for the

2013 GREATER PHOENIX JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL

To qualify for consideration, all submissions must have some relevance to Jewish themes, issues, history or culture. Feature films, documentaries, shorts and animated films are welcome.

The GPJFF will be previewing films from January 1st – September 15th, 2011. We are open to U.S. and International entries. International films must have English subtitles. Screeners must be in NTSC format. Films being considered for Opening and Closing Nights must be Arizona premieres.

For consideration, applicants must include the following: film synopsis, country of origin, type of film, length of film, available format (DVD, 35mm, etc.), producer and director’s information, along with your assessment of your films ratings. (R, PG, etc.) Include a self addressed stamped return envelope if you’d like your screener returned.
